Date of Foundation of the Construction Company - 18^th of February, 1943

"Stroi International", JSC (SMU-10 - Joint Venture "Sedin-Interstroi")
1943-2008г. - 65^th Anniversary from Foundation - Milestones of the Way

- 1943 - 1960 After Second World War Restoration of Industries

Date of 18th of February, 1943, can be called a starting count point in the history of our Company, when by order #1 dated 18th of February, 1943, there was founded "Krasnodar Division № 3 of the Specialized Construction & Erection Organization "Sevkavtyazhstroi", subsequently SMU-10, nowadays "Stroi International" and people of the most peaceful profession started to restore the capital of Kuban Region from ruins. The contribution of SMU-10 in the post-war restoration of Kuban Region cannot be overestimated. In the shortest time the industry was returned to operation: cement production plant in Novorossiysk, compressor plant, furniture manufacturing factory "Kavkaz", milk processing & bottling factory, factory of leather processing, workshops of working machines and agricultural machines manufacturing plants, furniture manufacturing factory "Kuban", fire station.

- 1960 - 1989 - Flagship of the Regional Construction Industry

Already in 1960-1980 the new history of SMU-10 began with the following industrial projects: expanded clay aggregates production facility in Enem, Adyg Republic, prefab panel production plant, housing manufacturing plant, radio instrument plant, workshops of "Saturn" and "Kaskad" plants. Many civil projects along the central street of Krasnodar were built by SMU-10 or with its participation: main building of Krasnodar Polytechnical institute, working machine construction college, exhibition complex in Pervomaiskiy park, building of Krasnodar circus, Operetta building, Drama building, Puppet Theater building, "Moscow" hotel, House of Books, building of design institute "Grazhdanproject", residential buildings.

- 1989 - 1993 - Positioning at International Arena

Foundation of the Soviet-German joint-venture "Sedin-Interstroi" on the basis of SMU-10 and beginning of the company's international activities. Execution of international contracts, development and expansion of foreign trade activity. Personnel training programs in the specialized school of Kerpen (West Germany) and obtaining certificates after passing theoretical and practical exams. Practical training of personnel on the jobsite of leading West German companies "Bilfinger+Berger AG" and "Strabag Bau-AG" and obtaining certificates, which confirmed an ability of the company to perform projects at the European level.

• "Turn-Key" construction of the rice mill with installation of equipment (Krasnodar);

• Residential houses (82-flat building) (Krasnodar); Polyclinic building of Federal security service (Krasnodar);
• Fire station (Krasnodar);
• Reconstruction and construction of Customs office (Krasnodar);
• Fine art furniture manufacturing workshop (Krasnodar);
• Concrete and reinforcement works in Germany - Construction of the Theater Gallery in Duesseldorf (Bilfinger+Berger AG);
• Construction of the Veteran House in Kaarst (Strabag Bau-AG);
• Construction of the Russian Trading House (Strabag Bau-AG);
• Construction of the rice mill on “turn-key” basis with installation of Italian technological equipment (Krasnodar region, Angelinskaya village).

- 1993 - 2000 - Application of International Experience and European Technologies in Construction of Civil and Industrial Projects

Reorganization of the joint-venture into the joint-stock company "Stroi International". Company underwent considerable restructuring resulted from such radical changes in society and business sphere as liberalization of the market, privatization in industry and concentration of customers and competitors. Execution of large-scale projects, also with international participation. Focusing on important governmental and social projects, having the absolute priority for Krasnodar-city and Krasnodar Region. Acquisition of the newest processes and Know-How.

• Registration and examination complex of Krasnodar traffic police (Krasnodar);
• Upgrading of Philip Morris Krasnodar Tobacco factory (Second phase) (Warehouse #98, construction of lockers and filter making area in the production building, jet grouting of production building foundations, facade upgrading of the production building, upgrading of the Philip Morris kindergarten, expansion of the car park, various structures and facilities at the territory of the factory) (Krasnodar);
• Concrete works of skeleton of the Spare bank building (on hold) (Krasnodar);

- 2000 - 2003 - Focus at Social Sphere in Construction

Having approached its 60-year Anniversary in 2003 the company is rated among the leaders of the construction complex of Kuban Region, is the awarded prize-winner of the All-Russion Contest for the best construction company, construction material production and construction industry for achievement of high efficiency and competitiveness in construction and construction material industry in new economical conditions, the prize-winner of the Regional Contest for the best company in the construction complex, the owner of the Federal (Gosstroy) License Center Certificate "Best companies of the investment and construction complex of Russian Federation" and "Model Enterprise of the Investment & Construction Complex of Russia", the owner of the International Diploma of "Alfa Business Club" (London) and International Award for Successes in Business Development. After the analysis of 2000 year results the Company was included in the Twenty Biggest Construction Companies of Russia. Our strength is in the process, engineering and project management.
